The Environmental Working Group is a non-profit agency that funds research in environmental health.  Every year it posts a list of 12 vegetables and fruit that have a very high pesticide load.  This list can help health-conscious consumers choose food items carefully to protect their health.  Avoiding these top 12 (or buy them organically) can significantly ease your pesticide burden.   Here they are:

  1. peaches
  2. apples
  3. sweet bell peppers
  4. celery
  5. nectarine
  6. strawberries
  7. cherries
  8. kale
  9. lettuce
  10. grapes (imported)
  11. carrots
  12. pears

Summer is here! Please note our closure from July 26-30th, 2021

Happy summer from the Cornerstone team!  We hope that you are planning some much deserved family time and outdoor activity.  We have our annual closure coming up the week of July 26th - July 30th, 2021.  Please note that we are completely CLOSED to patients for this week.  Patients of Dr. Meier, ND and Dr. Boucher, ND, please ensure your supplements are refilled well in advance. 

COVID update.  We are pleased to continue our covid-free streak at the centre.  We continue to follow all sanitary protocols and provide virtual visits whenever necessary.  Masks are still mandatory until we have a different directive from the government.  However, we welcome your walk in business and in-person visits as long as you feel well.
