REGISTERED PSYCHOTHERAPIST
Natalie Haynes, R.P.
Registered Psychotherapist

Natalie became a therapist because she was a client. Through her journey of self awareness she discovered a passion for psychotherapy that she never knew existed. Counselling and Psychotherapy helped Natalie to find the strength she knew she always had, a new appreciation for the intelligence of her emotions, and the ability to support herself or ask for support when needed. Natalie decided to enter into the profession of counselling and psychotherapy because she saw what became possible within herself and wanted to provide that for others. Natalie graduated from the University of Waterloo with her Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1998. She worked in the corporate world for 15 years and left her corporate career as an Operations Manager in Logistics and Supply Chain. While juggling her corporate career and family she attended the Transformational Arts College and became certified as a Spiritual Psychotherapist. Natalie started her practice at Cornerstone Health Centre in 2009. She completed a second psychotherapy program from the Gestalt Institute of Toronto and moved her practice to full time in 2012. Natalie is Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She belongs to The Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP). Natalie has served on the Board of Directors for the Gestalt Institute of Toronto since 2019 and is currently President of the Board.

In addition to her psychotherapy work, Natalie has a consulting company that provides training on mental wellness, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. Natalie recently created an online program called “The Comfortable Race Conversation Process”, that was included in the toolkit for organizations part of “The 50-30 Challenge: Your Diversity Advantage” created by the Government of Canada.

Natalie is committed to being a guide to those who are on their own journeys and helping clients to discover what is possible when they look at the challenges they are faced with, with compassion and support. She lives in Halton with her husband and two children.
